Heart-shaped chocolate sugar cookies

I tried this sugar cookie recipe today and it turned out really well. I only baked the cookies for 10 minutes so they are nice and soft. It was my first time trying royal icing too, and, as long as you have a mixer, it's really simple. I don't think my arms would have liked me very much if I had done it without the mixer...

I wanted to make mixed nut brownies too, but I just realised that we don't have any eggs left. Next time!
